On the obverse of the coin – a fragment of the interior of the Bank of Lithuania building in Kaunas, symbolizing the origins of central banking in Lithuania. This building, one of the most impressive in Kaunas and a symbol of its prosperity in the interwar period, features a two-story banking operations hall surrounded by a Corinthian colonnade with galleries on the second floor. The second-floor gallery is enclosed with a balustrade, and the glazed ceiling of the operations hall is adorned with coffers painted with historical and mythological motifs (visitors to the Bank of Lithuania can still admire this hall today, as the bank's cash services operate there). On the left side of the composition – the symbol of the Lithuanian national coat of arms, the Vytis, along with the inscription "Lietuva," the denomination "1.50 €," and the logo of the manufacturer, UAB Lietuvos monetų kalykla.
