On the common side of the coin – a geographical depiction of Europe.

On the national side of the coin, in the central part, is the outline of the map of Lithuania – resembling a basketball court, marking the fact that basketball has been played in Lithuania for 100 years. The inscriptions "Lietuva" and "1922–2022" are arranged in a semicircle around the coin's surface. Also on the obverse – the logo of the manufacturer, UAB Lietuvos monetų kalykla, and 12 EU stars arranged in a circle.
