On the obverse of the coin – a pattern, an allusion to a cozy evening when fairy tales were told, with the illusion of late hours further enhanced by stars and the moon on the left side of the composition: the first coin of the "My Fairy Tales" series begins with the new moon. The composition (pattern) features symbols representing the main elements of the fairy tale, with the symbolic silhouette of the Vytis below. At the top of the composition is an inscription that seems to be embroidered with thread, reading "Lietuva," and on the right, the denomination "1.50 €" and the year 2021.
