The reverse of the coin depicts a tiger cub lying next to a bamboo forest, in the background a Korean temple, above which is the inscription "KOREAN TIGER" and the year of minting "2021". Immediately below, on the right side of the coin, the weight of the coin is engraved, and on the left side of the coin, the word "GANGNEUNG", the South Korean city where the coin was minted, is carved on a bamboo stem.
The obverse of the coin shows the outlines of the "unified" states of North and South Korea, which are depicted in Korean characters. There is an authentication mark on the right corner of the coin depicting the coin's silver fineness "999", the mint mark on the left side of the coin and the inscription "FINE SILVER 999" on the bottom of the coin. The name of the country "REPUBLIC OF KOREA" is engraved on the top of the coin.
