The obverse of the medal is decorated with selected objects representing the temporary capital, emphasizing the most uniqueness - the confluence of Nemunas and Neris, Vytautas the Great Bridge, Kaunas Castle, Church of the Resurrection, City Hall, funicular, St. Archangel Mykolos (Egulos) Church, Pažaislis Monastery, Perkūnas House, A. Funk's designed house, A. Jokim's residential house, choral synagogue.

 

The reverse shows the coat of arms of Kaunas, the national symbol of Lithuania Vytis and the coats of arms of the cities that will complement the series of souvenir medals.
