The obverse shows the famous Temple of Heaven in Beijing. At the top of the coin in Hieroglyphic is mintage country (China), and below the year of issue. 

The coin's reverse depicts panda or a small group of panda's. Panda is not only Chinese national symbol, but also symbol of the international Fund. Chinese Panda Coins reverse indicates the nominal value of the national currency - the yuan. Coins also bear the weight and metal fineness.
