The obverse - Surrounded by a circle of traditional Chinese motives, a rabbit is featured in the center of the coin. He goes through the coin using the door displayed on the reverse. The ideogram of the rabbit appears on the right side. The yeardate 2023 and the inscription "Year of the rabbit" appear at the top, in the outer circle.
The reverse depicts all the animals in the Chinese zodiac. They are all displayed on a screen surrounding a traditional Chinese temple door. From 2018 to 2029, the entire Chinese zodiac cycle will be completed. Therefore, each of these twelve years is an animal from this calendar. The denomination is in the upper left corner and the word "RF" is on the door.
