2022 The Royal Australian Mint (Royal Australian Mint) is issuing new commemorative investment silver coin, ELEPHANT, from the Australian Zoo Series on behalf of the Reserve Bank of Australia.
The obverse depicts the sixth crowned portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, created by Jody Clarke (JC), wearing a George IV State Diadem and Victorian coronation necklace. The portrait is surrounded by a legend - "• ELIZABETH II • AUSTRALIA 2022 • 1 DOLLAR".
The reverse shows 4 Elephants, above are inscriptions in three lines - "AUSTRALIA ZOO", "ELEPHANT", "1OZ .999 Ag".
