This amazing 1-ounce silver coin is the first in the new series, Treasure of Tales. This coin is dedicated to the timeless masterpiece Alice's Adventure in Wonderland. This coin is partially colored, beautifully designed, Proof quality and is in a box, along with a certificate of authenticity.
The reverse of the coin depicts an original illustration by Sir John Tenniel from the first issue of ALICES ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND. This timeless tale was first depicted on a British coin. Alice looks at the Cheshire cat squatting in a tree with her iconic blue dress. The cat is determined to help Alice make the right decision. The inscription "ALICES ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND" appears on the right-hand side of the reverse.
The obverse of the coin depicts Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "2 POUNDS" in face value, "ELIZABETA II" in the Queen's name, "2021" in the year of issue and "DG-REG-FD" in Latin.
