The famous "happy" cowboy Luke is in a series of comics, which was released in 1947. first released by Belgian artist Maurice de Beveris, the hero. The author was also known by the pseudonym Morris. He conceived and drew the comic book series Lucky Luke, whose protagonist is so fearless and lucky to shoot faster than his shadow. This characteristic is, by the way, reflected in the coin.

The obverse of the coin depicts a comic hero on a horse. It flies through the field, with clouds of dust rising from the horse’s hooves between the grass and the flowers. In the upper part of the coin, against the background of the sky and the head of the cowboy, on the left are the capital letters RF, which indicates the issuing country. Below the letters is the name of the brand with which the comics about Luke are published, as well as the year of issue of the anniversary issue. To the right of the cowboy's head is the inscription UN COW-BOY DANS LE COTON (Cowboy in a cotton suit).

On the reverse of the coin, Luke left the horse and fired at the target. The image of his shadow stands with his hands down, and Luke has already fired a shot. At the top of this page is the name of the Lucky Luke comic along with the anniversary number 75 ans. The year of issue is 2021, the denomination at the bottom is € 10.
