NAB is pleased to present to its customers a gold coin Sovereign - Queen Elizabeth II, which is part of the most famous and the longest produced series of gold coins. Launched for the first time more than 500 years ago, Sovereign is known all over the world for its accuracy, high liquidity and excellent quality. Called in the British Empire as the "major coin of the world", Sovereign was at the very center of the classical gold standard, playing a key role in the international financial system and trade.
